Job Summary Do you enjoy working with people to help improve their day-to-day lives? Have you considered working with individuals with varying abilities? This position allows you to aid our clients with their daily needs and activities in order to better help them throughout their days. This position can be part-time or full-time and has many different available shifts. This position can be at a main campus facility or at one of our residential homes. We offer in-depth initial and annual training to provide our staff with the tools to be successful.
Responsibilities • Provide for the personal assistance needs of adults enrolled in services. • Perform necessary housekeeping duties as assigned. • Provide coverage and assistance for clients during lunch periods in day programming. • Assist in the implementation of instructional, industrial and training activities in all relevant service areas (including Behavior Support Plans). • Intervene in crisis situations and complete the necessary documentation. • Assist in the maintenance of necessary day service, operational and financial records and reports for clients. • Attend and actively participate in all in-services and agency meetings, as required. • Demonstrate teamwork with staff and clients in the agency (including other departments). • Documentation of all personal care data. • Maintain acceptable work standards in all areas including attendance and punctuality.Track personal care inventory and notify Director. • Ensure compliance with all agency policy and procedures. • Aid with daily needs such as hygiene or meals.
Qualifications • Must possess a valid Driver's License, with a driving record acceptable to Opportunity Enterprises, Inc. insurance carrier. • Must be 18 years or older. • Must pass pre-screening requirements (i.e. Drug screening, TB Test, and Background check)
